Park Church is pleased to add to our Church Family with a Covenant, Missional relationship with Lorraine Charinda. Lorraine is a missionary with the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries serving as an Agricultural Rural Economic Development specialist in the North Katanga Episcopal Area in the Democratic Republic of Congo, based in Lubumbashi. Read her bio here!
What does a Covenant relationship mean? First, we pray for this mission! Secondly, we agree to support this mission financially. Our congregation has pledged to donate a minimum of $2,500 per year to support this amazing mission. We are so grateful for Lorraine Charinda's gifts and talents! Lorraine's projects include several farms that grow a wide range of crops, plus projects in beekeeping, fishing, and moringa tree cultivation. In addition, Lorraine works on clean water and solar energy projects. All of these are ways she helps spread the LIGHT of Christ!!
