Confirmation is a two-year program. Explore class requirements and resources below.

Class Schedule

 

Wednesdays, September 13, 2023-April 24, 2024

6:15-7:30 PM

*no class on October 18, November 22, December 27, or March 13. Class will be cancelled if schools are closed, including closures due to weather.

Confirmation Sunday -- May 19, 2024

November 5: All Saints Sunday 

December 24: Christmas Eve

December 25: Christmas Day 

February 14: Ash Wednesday

March 24: Palm Sunday

March 28: Maundy Thursday

March 29: Good Friday

March 31: Easter

May 19: Pentecost

Confirmation Requirements

A basic list of "to-dos" for being confirmed at Park Church. Paper copies of report forms may be obtained from the Confirmation mailbox outside the church office.

Attend Class

Pretty self-explanatory.

Worship Notes

Complete ten worship notes per year. These may be completed by attending in-person worship (preferred), or by watching online worship.

Service Ministry

Volunteer in Church (greet, run tech, serve communion, read scripture, etc.) six times and participate in four non-church service projects per year. (10 total)

Bible Book Report

Complete five Bible book reports per year.

Faith Statement

At the end of the 2nd year of confirmation, students are expected to complete a Confirmation Faith Statement. 

Faith Conversations

Practice talking about faith at home. Use the Faith Lens weekly devotional as an optional resource for guiding conversations. 

Optional Activities

Camp & Events

This is not required but is strongly encouraged! Attend Summer Camps through Camp Minnesota or Youth events as they are offered. Scholarships are available -- ask the pastor or church office.
