We invite our congregation to find the hope and joy of Advent this season:

• Gather weekly for worship on Sundays. Join us from home via YouTube or in person at 10:30 AM. If you are joining us from home, light a candle, comment on the videos, and share them with your friends.
• Attend the Blue Christmas Service on Friday, December 12 @ noon, followed by a soup and salad lunch. This is a service of healing for those who have suffered a loss or are struggling to find hope and joy in the season.
• Celebrate Christmas in worship on Christmas Eve @ 7:00 PM. 
• Set aside time each day for God, reflecting on the promises of the coming Christ-child. Look at the YouVersion app and Cokesbury, with many devotionals from which to choose. If you need help finding one, check out the church library or reach out to the pastor. 
• Give generously! God is not only abundant to us but also provides abundant opportunities for us to share what we have been freely given. Perhaps you’ll give your time by shoveling a neighbor’s driveway or sidewalk. Maybe you’ll be generous with talents, making sweet treats to share with staff at a local care center, or reading for Advent Worship. Perhaps you’ll be generous with your finances, whether through a Christmas offering to our church, donating warm jackets and snow pants for Garfield school, or "adopting" a family. You can commit to writing and saying more thank yous and I love yous. There are many places in our lives that need a touch of grace and forgiveness, and praise be to God, you are here to be generous with both.

Amidst all of the chaos that the holiday seasons can bring, this remains: the Church’s mission is proclaiming the coming Christ. We hope you will participate, and come to find hope and joy this Advent.

  • The youth of Park Church will be practicing on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings to put on a fun program during worship! Whatever happens, we know it will be adorable!
